How to make a Wand - Harry Potter Zauberstab DIY

This Tutorial will Show you how to make your own Wand with magic Wood and a magic Core. Have fun! :)

 

Choose your favourite Wood

I choose Yew (in German "Eibe"). Yew is rarely and strong in Fightings.

Then choose a Handle. I often use Bamboo or reed.

Today I take a small tube of plastic.

Now I take wool ...

... and glue it with hot glue on the Handle.

Take care that one end is open for the Wood.

Now i cut the Wood.

Then I use sandpaper to make the Wood smooth.

After that, you can coose your favourite Core for your personal Wand.

There is Unicorn, Dragon and Phoenix.

I choose the "Hair" of an Unicorn.

Put the "Hair" in the Handle.

Then put the Wood in the Handle. Use hot glue if you want.

Make a knot.

Fix the knot with hot glue.

Now you can think about your wands Decoration.

I choose a Pearl and an Earring fot the End of the Hadle.

But at first I decorate the End of the Hadle with pliable wire.

It is important to use hot glue when you fix it.

Now it is time to prepare the Pearl for the End of the Hadle.

We will use the Pearl later.

Wrap the end of the Wood with paper. It will save the Wood when we Color the Handle.

I use a black and a silver lack.

At first I use the silver lack.

Then I use the black one.

Now it has to dry some houres.

Glue the Pearl on the end of the Handle.

I will use Nail Polish to make the Handle looking more exclusiv.

At first I use the silver Nail Polish.

Then I use a green one. It only has to dry....

...READY!!!
